Joonas Petteri drifted into electronic music through sampling culture and hip hop. This has shaped musical sensibility rooted in rhythm and groove. That foundation still carries through in his sets today, where deep and funky basslines and energetic percussion form the core.

Behind the decks, the focus is on feel and energy rather than rigid genre boundaries. House music provides the backbone, while detours to the unexpected are typical. The result is a fluid, evolving mix that balances familiarity with surprise.

As the driving force behind the PTNKY collective, he has produced playful events where the atmosphere stays open and unpretentious. The intent is simple: create spaces where music can be enjoyed without overthinking it.
